Deposit and Cancellation Policy

We ask for a 50% non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit to book the space.

The remaining amount is due one month before the event. At this point the booking is non-refundable and non-changeable.

If you do need to cancel at any time after making the deposit, we’ll make your date(s) available again and we are happy to refund what you’ve paid if we’re able to fill the spot(s).

You agree to:

  • Only use the space for the purpose communicated with us

You may not:

  • Move the plants (it's very stressful for them to be moved and we care about them).

  • Move the couch, the wall hangings or the altar at the front of the room.

  • Remove anything from the building

  • Nail or pin anything into any of the walls

  • Interfere with any of the space’s safety and security equipment, including moving fire extinguishers, covering the fire alarm, or obstructing the front door emergency exit

You understand:

  • The space will only be available to you between the times you have booked.

  • The space is un-staffed. Where we have agreed and if you have tables included in your booking, someone will help you setup the tables.

House Rules

  • No shoes in the main space if possible.

  • You can use candles, incense etc. There are no smoke alarms in the space.

  • Please clean the mats with sprays provided in the basket at the front of the room and put them back on the shelf at the end of the event.

  • Please use general waste and recycling bins provided for any waste.

  • Please do not run over time so our cleaner doesn't have to wait.

  • We advise you to lock the door from the inside for the duration of the event, so you are not disturbed and your personal belongings are safe. We don't take responsibility for personal items stored in the space during the event, or anything left in the space after the event.

Your responsibilities

  • In case of fire, you must immediately evacuate all of your guests (including checking the toilets) across the street, and call 999 saying “FIRE at 4 HOY STREET”. If safe to do so, attack the fire using the fire extinguishers in the space.

Damage

You are liable for any costs to replace or fix any damages to the venue or missing items, including but not limited to:

  • floor or furniture stains that can not be removed or need to be treated professionally

  • missing yoga, sound or other equipment

  • missing furniture or lighting

  • damage to the walls

  • damage to the doors, window glass or curtains

  • damage to the plants (moving them around can result in this).
